Stella Kirkpatrick

Stella is an amazing little girl with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and a brain injury known as HIE (hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy) which is an injury caused by lack of oxygen to the brain. When Stella was born her heart stopped for nearly 18 minutes due to a placenta abruption so we are so thankful every day to still have her in our lives.

Stella loves Cocomelon, her kitties, and anything involving water. She loves family and friends, and has the most infectious laugh. She has come so far but her life also revolves around an endless amounts of therapy and out of town specialist appointments. Stella is unable to sit or stand without assistance, so she requires a wheelchair for mobility. We are doing this fundraiser in hopes of raising money towards a wheelchair accessible van for Stella. Her wheelchair supports her better than anything else, and she is struggling to sit comfortably in her car seat in our current set up. As she grows it will be physically more demanding for me to be able to transfer her and her wheelchair in and out of the vehicle, so this would be amazing for us because Stella leads quite a busy life.
