Steven Collie

On October 11th of this year, my father Steven Collie was blessed with the gift-of-life through a lifesaving double lung transplant. After being listed on the active transplant list for less than two weeks, my Dad went into surgery and is now recovering at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. His new lungs are in pristine shape and my Dad is recovering each and every day. We are all hopeful for a full recovery, and that my father is able to join his church choir very soon.

Transplants are lifesaving, but very expensive and Steven needs your support. Recovering in the ICU for over a week now, my dad faces large medical bills from his surgery, co-pays and deductibles, health insurance premiums, caregiver fees, living and travel expenses. Steven is also required to take costly, post-transplant medications that are needed for the rest of his life.

My Dad is blessed with a new lease on life, but as he heals from his transplant, your continued support means so much to his recovery.
