My Life Today:

There is another need in my life now with my also due to a car accident. I was sitting still and an SUV rear ended me at a high rate of speed without breaking. I blacked out for a few minutes and woke up with a concussion and whiplash and back and neck injury and pain.

After receiving medical help from a medical worker for many months, he sexually assaulted me forcefully with injuries. I am getting medical help from a Doctor who treats women of sexual assault. I need help with paying for medical assistance for my pain and injury due to the assault and for my neck and back pain and injury. I have diminished all my savings and live on a low income. My Story Previously:

MS is a disease in which the immune system attacks the protective sheath that covers the body’s nerves; myelin damage disrupts communication between the brain and the rest of the body causing irreversible damage. As a result of her MS, Susan’s symptoms have progressed and she now has difficulty walking and requires a cane in order to take a few steps. Walking around the block takes longer and longer for Susan, as she is losing the ability to lift her legs as each day passes. Susan also suffers severe bouts of pain, and “flare-ups” and she has exhausted most forms of conventional medications and therapies. Her condition continues to progress, and Susan suffers constant fatigue, severe pain, and muscle aches that cause her to feel isolated and discouraged.

Susan has been fortunate enough to find a physician who will treat her with a promising treatment, known as non-embryonic stem cell therapy. There is much success and up and coming research for the MS community with this type of treatment. Susan is a candidate for such therapy, and more than ever she wishes to undergo this treatment so she can spend more time with her nieces and nephews. She even has hopes to go back to work in the medical field, and most of all, be able to walk once again!

The stem cell therapy Susan is seeking has promising results, but this type of transplant is very expensive. Susan will require $10,000 for the procedure alone, plus additional money for travel and lodging fees, meal costs, and even transportation expenses. With her very limited disability income, Susan needs your help and cannot pay for her treatment on her own.
