Taegenae (Taega) is in dire need of your help to enhance her lifespan!!!

Taegenae’s ongoing struggle with congenital heart disease has come to a critical point. Taega is now in need of a heart transplant. Without a transplant Taega is likely to die. With the help of doctors and all the treatment in her 17 years of life she’s now at the point where she needs a Heart to survive.

Taega is a fun loving, outspoken fighter. She loves to sing and dance when she is able. She has always been a trooper, even with her failing health. She strives daily to be the best she can be. She has the will and desire to live a long life. She aspires to go to Penn State and become a lawyer some day. With your support, maybe we can make that happen.

While Taega has health insurance, many transplant related expenses are surprisingly not covered. Such as after transplant care, and the need of anti-rejection medications which will not be covered by her insurance. This medication can cost up to $5000 a month.

Donations to Help Hope Live can help ease the financial burden of a transplant and the after care expenses, allowing Taega and her family to focus on a speedy recovery and a long life with her siblings, family and friends. And maybe Taega will be able to accomplish her lifelong dream of going to college.

We are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live in honor of Taegenae Sanders to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.

We chose to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. On 03/03/2020 Taegenae was gifted with her heart this is a brand new journey for Taega and her family. Taegenae and mom will have to relocate to another city for the next 3 months to be closer to the hospital. Its not a choice but a direct order from the transplant team. with this relocation there are added expenses for the family. Taegenae’s mother will not be able to work due to caring for Taega during her recovery period.
