Hello, my name is Tamera Gray and I am 39. I am a wife, mother and daughter that needs your help.

I have terminal liver disease. It has progressed to the point that I need a transplant to live a good quality life with my young son, husband, and family. I am asking for you to join my family in fundraising for Help Hope Live.

I am a very determined person and have always put others before me. I have worked to help others enrich their lives through good nutrition, focusing on health, and managing their time and emotions. Although life hasn’t always been smooth sailing, I have never had a fight like this. In October 2021 my life abruptly paused. I want to flourish as a mommy, wife, daughter, sister, and as a member of my community. Sadly, now my body will not allow it without a new liver.

Having health insurance is a blessing, however many expenses may not be covered. For example, one month of prescriptions can be up $7,967.70. There will also be weekly labs, close follow up with needed examinations and, of course, the unforeseen. My medications will be lifelong and constant maintenance will be involved. This will be a deep and essential life change.

Donations to Help Hope Live, in my name, can ease the financial burden of such expenses. This will also allow me and my family to rest a little easier and it allows me to focus on recovery and a healthy life ahead from now and for the rest of my life.
