I am passionately trying to raise enough money for a down payment to purchase a replacement wheelchair accessible van. Buying an accessible van is the most expensive purchase I have had to encounter throughout my life. A reliable van means that I am able to access my community, continue my advocacy work and travel to Stanford’s Neuroscience Center to continue receiving life-saving medical treatment.

Born with a progressives neurological condition known as Spinal Muscular Atrophy, I have managed to beat the odds of a grim prognosis. It is through my faith, courage and caring circle of support that I live a full and enriched life.
