Teri Needs A Liver Transplant And Your Help!

Teri has always been the person to light up the room, help everyone in need, support their choices, and is the backbone of her family. Teri is a mother of three and grandmother of two. Her many friends and family know her for her welcoming personality and tender heart.

Unfortunately, at this time, Teri has been diagnosed with liver failure and is struggling deeply to maintain day to day. She has and is continuing to work to support her family. Right now, she is at a critical point in the diagnosis, and she will need a liver transplant to survive.

Teri is currently on the transplant list and could receive a donor liver at any time. Fortunately, she has excellent insurance coverage through her employer that will cover almost all of the medical expenses related to the transplant. A transplant is life-saving and also very expensive.

While her insurance covers most of the medical-related fees, unfortunately, there are many other costs not included, and we ask for your help. Some of these expenses are; Several weeks of lodging near the University of Utah Hospital, Donor living expenses (living expenses and other financial responsibilities), and ongoing medications and unpredictable expenses.

We’ve partnered with Help Hope Live, a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for more than 37 years. All donations are tax-deductible, held in a liver transplant fund, and administered for transplant-related expenses only by Help Hope Live.

While Teri’s illness is increasingly getting worse, her positivity has not wavered in the slightest. She is looking forward to future memories with her grandchildren, family, and friends. Living her life for those around her, she now needs your help to focus on a healthy recovery and a long life ahead.
