Help Hope Live for Thomas Fitzgerald

Hi! I’m Thomas (Tommy). My family and I are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Illness.

I’m a 36 year old engineer who was diagnosed with ALS in June 2021. I’m husband to a loving wife and father to a rambunctious two year old. I’m gradually losing function that I took for granted my entire life, e.g., walking, climbing stairs, cutting food, and tying my shoes, I started this fundraiser in the hopes to support my family the best I can while purchasing a growing list of assistive devices insurance refuses to pay for. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated! It will help keep my family afloat as we navigate these uncertain circumstances.

I chose to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.

Thank you for your support!
