I NEED YOUR HELP!

Hello my name is Tila Davis, I am currently 40 years old. I have 2 teenage boys that I adore dearly. For the past 20 years I have been battling with SLE Lupus Nephritis, this is a rare blood disease that attacks certain organs within a person’s body. Well Lupus has attacked my kidneys, and has now caused me to go into renal failure in need of a kidney.

I love being around my family and friends, taking my boys to events with their friends and classmates. When it comes to holidays, I loved to be apart of the meal preparation. Loved cooking tasty home cooked meals, to see the enjoyment in peoples’ faces gives me a lot of joy. The symptoms that I experience now has caused me to HAVE to cut back on all the simple activities that I was used to doing. I have always lived a positive and productive life style despite my health condition. Having a positive attitude helped me to avoid the inevitable for a long time. But now my kidneys are functioning in between a 10-12%, this is why I am now reaching out.

While I do have health insurance, many transplant services are surprisingly not covered, such as the monthly medication that I will have to continue to take after I have been blessed with a new kidney. Any donations that can be provided would help me tremendously by easing the financial burden of a transplant. As well as allowing me to focus on a healthy recovery.

My family and friends are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live in honor of Tila Davis to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
