My story begins in April 2014 when I found out I HAVE END STAGE RENAL DISEASE.

I was put on peritoneal dialysis until this September when I had to switch over to hemodialysis because of several bouts of peritonitis, which is a bad infection. I have also had several stents put in and Open-Heart Surgery in September of this year. Fortunately, my daughter is a match and will be giving me one of her kidneys in January 2019.

The reason I am fundraising is that my wife and our daughter will be out of work for several weeks after my transplant. My wife will be taking care of me, our daughter and her and two children along with her own mother. My wife will be taking her vacation time but our medical bills and other bills will be to much for her to pay for. Our daughter won’t receive any pay while she is out of work. So we all decided to join helphopelive.org and start a fundraiser campaign. Please join us in this fundraiser so we don’t have to worry about me getting my medicine afterwards and our finances.
