Timmy has been battling with interstitial lung disease for the past year and is progressively getting worse.

Interstitial lung disease is scaring of the lungs that is irreversible. To prolong Timmy’s life, he will be needing a double lung transplant. We’re asking family, friends and co-workers to join us in fundraising for the non-profit HelpHopeLive.org in honor of Timmy, to assist with expenses he’ll incur after surgery.

Although Timmy has health insurance the essential anti-rejection medication will cost around $1000+ a month. Timmy and his daughter Savanna will be moving to the Durham area for about three months during this process. These donations will also help with expenses such as lodging near the transplant center, travel, post-op care, and medical bills that insurance does not cover.
Donations to Help Hope Live will help ease the financial burden of the transplant and allow Timmy to focus on a healthy recovery and a long life ahead. After the transplant Timmy looks forward to doing everyday activities, going fishing, and playing with his grandchildren without being hooked up to his oxygen machine.
