TJ Barrett

TJ Barrett is very outgoing 33 year old father of two small children, and a loving husband. In 2009, he was diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis and Ulcerative Colitis. After battling the disease for many years, TJ needs a life-saving liver transplant and your help because the cost of transplant is so overwhelming.

TJ grew up in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and graduated from Oakland High School in 2000. He went on to graduate from Nashville Auto-Diesel College and is currently employed with Nissan. TJ and his wife, Mandy were married in 2006. They welcomed their son, Jaxon in 2009 and Addison, their daughter in 2013. TJ and his family attend Leanna Church of Christ.

Even with medical insurance coverage, there are many out of pocket transplant related expenses including deductibles, travel expenses, office visits, and the very expensive immunosuppressant medications that TJ will need to take for the rest of his life.

To help with the financial burden of TJ’s uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in his honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the South-Atlantic Liver Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only.
