Our beloved husband and grandfather, Tom, needs your help.

Tom has had a long battle with liver disease that has come to a critical point. My husband, and the grandfather to our 18 beautiful grandchildren, needs a liver transplant to survive. We are asking family and friends to join us in fundraising for Help Hope Live to help with critical expenses that Tom will face prior to and immediately after surgery.

While Tom has health insurance, many transplant expenses are surprisingly not covered, including the $400.00 per day hospital copay and the antirejection medication he will need to take for his new liver. We have been told to anticipate upwards of $3,000.00 per month for those medications alone. Living on a fixed income makes it impossible for us to cover all of these upcoming expenses.

Tom has always remained positive and loving, despite his chronic health condition. He supports and attends all of his grandchildrens’ functions with a happy heart and a smile, regardless of how miserable he may be feeling.

We met late in life and have been able to enjoy 21 years of blissful marriage but would certainly love to enjoy many more years together. Tom is the apple of his grandchildrens’ eyes and they can’t imagine life without him. Due to his liver disease the ammonia levels in his brain keep raising to dangerous levels requiring hospitalization and now he desperately need your help.

Donations can be made to Help Hope Live. These donations will help ease the financial; burden of a transplant, allowing Tom and I to focus on his recovery and a long life ahead of us spent side by side.
