Tomas Quiroz

Hello family and friends I would like to tell you a little bit as to why we are doing this fundraiser for Tomas. For the past 4 years he has been on dialysis for end stage kidney failure. We have come to the point of needing a transplant so the money being raised here will be to cover any medical expenses and medication that his insurance will not. It will also help pay for his stay in Colorado during his recovery time which will be atleast one month. Tomas has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.

Here’s a little back story on my brother. Anyone that knew him growing up will know how kind and big hearted he is, one of the most caring persons there is. He was a hard worker as a child. He helped our father work cows,plow fields and stack bales without complaining. He would help our mother with her garden and help take care of her chickens. No job was to big or to little for him including being one of the best big brothers he could be to our sister Anita and I, as we were the 3 youngest of 16…yes 16…children. Tomas would take us swimming on those hot summer days when he wasn’t helping our dad. Tomas would take us exploring for hours,make wooden guns for us and boats to float the creek. He truly was and is an amazing guy who loved to dance and be social and travel.

He is an amazing father and grandfather now and enjoys spending as much time with his grandchildren as possible. Unfortunately due to his kidney issues he is unable to be as active as he would like but he sure does his best to make life great and never complains about anything. Tomas is always positive and will be the first person to sit and pray with you at any given time. He truly knows the meaning of being a friend to anyone that needed a shoulder to lean on and never stood in judgment of anyone .So with that I would like thank everyone for taking the time to read this, donate or simply share this so that we can help Tomas reach his goal and receive a kidney and get this cowboy back on the dance floor.
