Tommy Tarr

Family and friends of Tommy Tarr are raising money to pay for uninsured medical expenses associated with kidney transplantation. Tommy has been on dialysis for over 13 years and is hopeful about his possible transplant opportunity.

Tommy has lived in the United States for over 30 years. He is originally from Liberia and has a miracle story of how God kept him during years of civil war and life as a refugee from his home country. Tommy has a warm and hopeful personality seasoned by these earlier life struggles. Through his tremendous faith, Tommy is praying that God would grant him another miracle of healing through a new kidney. Perhaps you could be a part of this miracle prayer answer.

A little about Tommy’s earlier life: Tommy was born August 13, 1954, in Buchanan, Liberia. His parents Mr. & Mrs. Hwieto Tarr were “hand to mouth farmers”. His parents are deceased but live in his heart.

Tommy studied and became a teacher in Liberia. Here in the US Tommy adjusted to his new life and became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). He was blessed to care for many others as they went through various life struggles. Now Tommy needs help during his struggles. While Tommy has insurance he still needs help to pay expenses not covered by insurance, including co-pays, medication, travel and more. These expenses occur both before and after transplantation.
