I have been battling COPD Emphysema “chronic lung disease” for 3 years. I am on oxygen and despite all efforts, I now face the reality of needing a double lung transplant to survive.

The past year has been incredibly challenging for me and my loved ones. Simple tasks like breathing and walking, have become increasingly difficult, and I’ve spent countless hours in and out of hospitals. The only long-term solution left for me is a double lung transplant, which offers hope for a better future, but it comes with significant financial hurdles.

While my health insurance covers a portion of the costs, it does not fully cover all the expenses related to the surgery, post-operative care, medications, and travel. The total out-of-pocket costs are estimated at $15,000, which is why I am reaching out to friends, family, and the community for support. Any contribution, no matter how small, will bring me closer to this life-saving procedure.
