Hello,
My name is Rebecca Hargrove and my daughter, Tosha Buchanan (44) is dying from Alpha 1 Antritrysin Deficiency. That’s a missing enzyme that is needed to protect your lungs and liver, and it’s affecting her lungs. Tosha was not born with any enzymes.
She is a daughter, mother, aunt, niece, cousin, friend, and so much more to many other people. Right now, Tosha only has 13% lung functioning, and is on oxygen 24/7. She will not be able to live much longer without a double lung transplant.
Tosha has 3 children, twin boys, Eltonio and Anthon, and a daughter, Tessa. She has 5 grandchildren, ages 5 through 1, with another on the way.
I would love for my daughter to have the opportunity to watch her grandchildren grow and have a quality life.
