Tracy Adams

After years of helping others, Tracy now needs our help!

Tracy is a 47 year old wife, mother, and grandmother who has been suffering from a hereditary kidney disease called Polycystic Kidney Disease. This disease has caused Tracy’s kidney function to slowly decline throughout the years leaving her with two options as it continues to decline; she can choose to live on dialysis or have a kidney transplant. Unfortunately, the cost of both options is overwhelmingly expensive. Tracy has spent most of her life caring for others; now, she needs our help!

Tracy was born in Nobles, Indiana but has called Oklahoma home since she was 15. Tracy is married to David who is beyond supportive of everything she does. She has three grown daughters and three sweet grandchildren. Tracy spent many years working within the courthouse, but has since been a stay at home nanny for the past five years. Tracy looks forward to receiving treatment for her kidneys so she can continue to spend time with her family and watch her grandbabies grow. Our family will stand behind Tracy and support her every step of the way!

While dialysis will help her kidneys do their job to keep her alive, Tracy has decided that a kidney transplant will be the better option for her. A transplant will offer her more freedom, and it will allow her to live a longer more normal life. Unfortunately, transplants are financially draining even with insurance. Medications before, during, and after the procedure can still cost thousands of dollars out of pocket monthly. That doesn’t include all of the labs, testing, and other medical attention she may need.

To help with the financial burden of uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign has been established in honor of Tracy Adams with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to help patients and families in need for more than 30 years. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law and are held by Help Hope Live in the South-Central Transplant Fund in honor of Tracy Adams.
