TRACY NEEDS YOUR HELP!

Tracy is a 53-year-old mother of three who was attending Rose State College for Accounting and Finance and working at Remington Park as a night security guard. On December 27th, 1999, Tracy was admitted into the hospital with the flu, pancreatitis, and kidney failure. As a result, she was placed on dialysis immediately and life as she knew it drastically changed.

Before, Tracy was a loving outgoing person who never met a stranger. She loves to travel, go shopping and spend time with her family and her grandkids. With her kidneys failing, life became very unbearable at times due to the change of her diet, having to come to dialysis 3 days a week, having to be stuck with two large needles, and all the surgeries that went along with this disease.T

racy has been on dialysis for 24 years and over those 24 years she has done Peritoneal dialysis twice and in center the duration of the time she does her dialysis.

Tracy was transplanted in 2004, unfortunately that kidney only lasted 5 years. So, she’s having high hopes this time around it will last her lifetime.

Tracy is fundraising for the out-of-pocket monies for after her transplant. Tracy is looking forward to post transplant where she can return to school and work, most of all she can be more outgoing with her grandsons and one granddaughter. She also wants to plan an out of country experience saying that she has never been out of state.
