TRACY’S JOURNEY BACK TO HEALTH:

Tracy needs your help. She is a 54-year-old woman who is currently raising her young granddaughter and has enrolled in school for medical billing and coding. She has been diagnosed with end stage renal failure, and doctors say a kidney transplant is necessary. While awaiting her transplant, Tracy must endure regular dialysis treatments to maintain her health. These treatments are hard and take a toll on her quality of life.

Tracy loves to travel. Before her health began to decline, she went on several cruises to the Bahamas with her mother-in-law, but now she can only be gone for a few days -a weekend at most- due to her health and rigorous dialysis schedule. After her diagnosis, she and her son even had to miss taking a trip to Ireland with her son’s school. Tracy looks forward to the transplant that will allow her to live life again. She looks forward to traveling the world and spending many more years with her loved ones.

Tracy is fundraising to help cover her out-of-pocket expenses for the surgery, and a caretaker that will be able to take her to follow-up appointments. She will also need help to cover her life saving anti-rejection medication that her insurance company is unable to cover, plus any other medical expenses that she may incur.
