Trent Jones

On October 28, 2014 our son, Trent Jones life was changed forever. Trent was in an automobile accident and is now a quadriplegic with no feeling or movement below his neck.

Trent is 21 years old and had recently been promoted in his job in the restaurant industry. He is a great son, brother and good friend to many. Currently he is inpatient at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta. In spite of the many struggles he is facing, he is working hard, tries to stay strong and keep a positive attitude. As you can imagine some days are more difficult than others. He is determined to make as much progress as he can and will be continuing with his ongoing therapy when he goes home.

Even with insurance there are many expenses that must be covered out of pocket. The greatest need right now is to purchase a vehicle that will accommodate Trent’s wheelchair so that he can get to his rehabilitation therapy. In addition, home modifications must be made, adaptive equipment will be needed; Trent will require a caregiver 24/7, medications and many other expenses. This puts Trent up against a challenge he cannot meet alone and desperately needs your help.

To help with the financial burden of Trent’s uninsured injury related expenses, a fundraising campaign in his honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years.
