Vincent Henry

Vincent Henry is a 51-year-old man who is very sick. He has been struggling for 16 years with kidney failure. He is currently on dialysis three days a week and working towards receiving a kidney transplant.
Vincent grew up very physically active prior to his illness. He enjoyed swimming, diving and also being a gymnastics coach. He wants to get back to the activities he once loved so much and being able to enjoy more with his family.

Transplants are lifesaving, but financially draining. Funding this life saving surgery and the after transplant care is a monumental task, as there will out of pocket medical expenses not covered by insurance including expensive post-transplant anti -rejection medications, insurance co-pays, deductibles, lab fees and related expenses that can be financially draining.

To help offset such expenses, a fundraising campaign in Vincent’s honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the South-Central Stem Cell Transplant Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for transplant-related expenses only.
