My name is Vivian. I have had a long battle with CKD (chronic kidney disease) that has come to a critical point. I now have kidney failure and need a kidney transplant to survive. I am asking friends and family to join in fundraising for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to help with critical expenses I will face immediately after surgery. For example, the cost of lodging near the transplant center where I will be required to stay for a minimum of 30 days.
During recovery I will be off for 3months, once post transplant I will have to pay my own insurance premiums about $5,000.00 a month, also my medications co pays can be up to $500.00 a month, gas and transportation to appointments take out will be approximately $10,000.00 a month,
Having a child with special needs too can be challenging which I am facing. Help/assistance will be needed to care for him during time of recovery.

I have always lived a productive life! I went to school for nursing and have been working as a nurse for 17 years providing exceptional care to my patients! Caring for the sick and needy is my passion. working as a frontline worker, I love doing , and with my kidneys functioning at 2% NOW I NEED HELP! I am only surviving now with daily dialysis.

While I have health insurance, transplant expenses are surprisingly not covered. Expenses such as monthly anti-rejection medications that I will need to take for the new life of my new kidney. I have been told to anticipate $5,000.00 alone per month for medication alone.
