William Reid

My name is William Reid, but you can call me Bill. Over 20 years ago I was diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). This is a progressive lung disease that makes it very difficult to breathe due to irreversible damage to my lungs and airway. My lungs are at the point where I am in need for continuous oxygen provided by an oxygen machine or oxygen tanks. Unfortunately, I am in need for a bilateral lung transplant.

The financial expenses are getting to be overwhelming (gas, medications, doctor bills, test and many other medical expenses). And this is where I need help from you all.

Having this bilateral lung transplant would allow me to be here for my grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I have never had to ask for help like this before. I have always worked on the things I’ve needed in life. So, I am asking for help now as I may be allowed to continue my life’s journey.
