William Louis Truman

William Truman was diagnosed with heart failure in June 2022. Despite ongoing treatment and medication, his condition did not improve. In July 2023, he was referred to Banner University Medical Center to be evaluated and listed for a heart transplant.

William is now preparing for transplant surgery and is currently fundraising to help cover the many expenses associated with this life-saving procedure. These include the cost of a full-time caregiver, especially during the critical recovery period when friends and family may not always be available to assist. He will require a caregiver for at least three months post-transplant—potentially longer depending on his recovery—at an estimated cost of $40,000.

While medication costs remain uncertain, his insurance is expected to cover most of those expenses.
