Family and friends of Yasmeen Lobley are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.

Hi my name is Yasmeen but I go by Yas. I started having heart problems in 2021 and I had my pacemaker/defibrillator put in. Then in January of 2022 I went to the hospital for shortness of breath and they told me that I had liver,kidney and the right side of my heart was failing. I got transported to a different hospital that could help me. They saved my life by doing surgery and giving me an Lvad aka left ventricular assisted device. It was a tough road to get back to kind of myself. I did it but then on November 20th 2023 my defibrillator fired off 5 times back to back and then the doctors had to externally defibrillate me twice after that to stabilize me. Then I found out that my heart is the size of a football. The doctors had to place an Rvad aka right ventricular assisted device to help support the right side of my heart. Now I’m waiting for a heart but I can’t get it without having an after care plan, and that includes providing my own housing. I’m asking you all to help me get my heart.
