Family and friends of Zachary Shorman are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Illness.

Hello, my name is Zachary Shorman and I am trying to raise money to purchase an adaptive tricycle. I am 30 years old and have cerebral palsy. My life is spent in a wheelchair, but I love to be outdoors and take walks with my family, play video games, bowl, play basketball and baseball, and take vacations with my family.

In March 2020, when Covid struck, my daily routine drastically changed and all of the activities that I was used to doing were suddenly all cancelled. I no longer can attend my day program with my peers, and all of my favorite sports that I play were cancelled too. The only thing I get to enjoy now is being outdoors with my family. I would love to stay as active as possible with an adaptive tricycle so I can ride outdoors, feel the sun on my face and smell the ocean breeze, as we often go to the beach. It has now been 1 year out of my day program, and I still cannot go back.
