Help Me Keep Fighting for My Second Chance ❤️

At only 38 years old I’m living with advanced stage 4 end of life Pulmonary Fibrosis, a disease that has changed almost every part of my life. My lungs were unknowingly being attacked for many years from inflammation and then I started to have joint pain, upon looking for a solution to my joint pain and having basically every medical test done that a person could do we found out that I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, causing Interstitial Lung Disease resulting in Pulmonary Fibrosis (similar to COPD). I’m now facing the journey of the SUPERBOWL OF SURGERIES-a double lung transplant—something that could give me the chance to breathe easier, live more normally, and have a future that I wouldn’t have otherwise as this disease is terminal and I’m currently within a very short life expectancy timeframe. Most people in this similar situation are in their 60’s and 70’s. You only receive a lung transplant referral if you’re in a 2 year window…..

Right now, I’m on disability and trying to find part time work which can be a challenge as I have supplemental oxygen which limits my job availability and the financial strain has become overwhelming. Medical expenses, medications, oxygen, everyday bills, and the costs that come with preparing for a transplant continue to pile up. I’m doing everything I can, but I can’t do it all alone.

That’s why I’m asking for your help.

PS. You are donating to the great lakes transplant fund, it may be worded confusing to make it sound like your money is pooled in a fund that others would have access to but every donation disbursement that I’ve requested has paid out directly to my medical bill without problem. This is a legit way to donate for tax deduction and it has to be worded correctly for that very purpose.
