Jana Marler

Family and friends of Jana Marler are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a catastrophic illness. Jana has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses. We’ve added an additional $5,000 for follow up care.

Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward her medical treatment and recovery expenses.

This isn’t easy for her to ask — in fact, it’s the last thing she ever imagined having to do, but sometimes we reach moments in life where we have to lean on the community we’ve poured into for so many years.

She has had an extremely rare and aggressive Periodontal Disease that she has put off during a long drug out divorce process, but unfortunately the stress has caused it to be even more aggressive and there is no time to wait any longer. This surgery is urgent in order for her to be able to function on a daily basis: talking, eating, functioning, etc.. If left untreated, this could lead to bigger issues such as Heart Disease.

Her surgery is set for June 4, 2026 and will include removing 100% of her teeth, and implementing 6-12 permanent screws into the bone that’s left in her mouth to be able to hold teeth. She has experienced rapid bone loss, and this will be a very intensive and intricate surgery to ensure she does not need a metal jaw structure build to hold teeth.

The urgency is now. We are grateful for any donations large or small. Please share this with anyone you know who is in a position, willing and able to donate. Ideally about 3-4 large donations would help her close this out as she needs to pay her $20k remainder for her FIRST deposit, on June 4th/surgery day.

There is still a remaining balance plus days missed for work. As a single mom and sole provider to her children, anything helps and we greatly appreciate you!
