Janet L Mabry-Deslitch
Dyer, TN
Hello, I am a 61 year young lady. I am a wife, mother, nana of 18 grandchildren and 5 great grand children. Family is a huge part of my life. I grew up with a passion for people and helping people. Love being of service to anyone that I can help. I was a cna for 26 years and was finally able to go for my dream of being a nurse. I became a nurse in 2005. I had been diagnosed with COPD and Emphysema when I was younger. My condition became much worse through the years. It got to where I could not work without doing breathing treatments at work. I knew I wouldn’t be able to continue my work. I had to retire at 54. My whole world was turned upside down. I had lost alot of weight and was down to 79lbs. I had pneumonia and was recouping at home when I had an incident where i could not breathe. We had to call 911. I was taken to hospital and knew I was in serious condition. I had a collapsed lung that required a chest tube. Also had a stress heart attack at same time. Was in hospital 33 days and had a crossing over experience but thank God he sent me back. I had to come home on oxygen and am still on oxygen. I am ready to make a change and my only option is a double lung transplant. I’m so tired of not being able to do much. I want my life back. At least a better life than these hoses and tubes. I want to enjoy my great grand babies and go on outings with out worry. Thank you all for your time and thank you in advance for any support. God Bless
