Justin Jackson

Hi all, my name is Justin and I have Duchenne muscular Dystrophy. I found out when I was 6 what I had and we knew this would be a long lifetime journey, but I started to be in a wheelchair at about 10 and was completely in it at 13. I am a very funny and outgoing guy I try not to let this define who I am. I still like to hang out with my brothers and friends and still play my video games. Some of my struggles are I really can’t do anything alone always needing help with things. It’s very hard to go to appointments and stuff because all my mom has is a truck and they have to pick me up to get me in it. As I am getting bigger it is harder for them to lift me into the truck so that I can go to my appointments. So, we are trying to raise money to get us a van so that it is easier and all we have to do is get me in my chair and I can be comfortable on our rides to appointment’s and other places I like to go like shopping with my mom or going out to the park with my brothers to enjoy some outside fun time. Please donate anything you can spare even if it’s only $5 anything can help towards getting me to places I need to go and places I want to go.
