Kelly Rowe

Family and friends of Kelly Rowe are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live in honor of Kelly to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Double Lung transplant. Kelly has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.

Kelly is a husband, father, and grandpa. He really enjoys working and staying busy. Since he was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, he hasn’t been able to do anything but sit around to keep his oxygen up. He is at a level twelve that requires a new oxygen bottle every 30 minutes.

He has never smoked, but still got the disease. He has had this for three years, and really wants to have this transplant so he can get back to a normal life.

Kelly really enjoys his grandchildren and his dogs; they keep him going. The children and dogs are really looking forward to playing ball with him again. He loves those kids and dogs.

Kelly was very active, had his own business, and enjoys working. He really wants to work, mow the lawn, and live again. Raising funds will help with travel to access treatment, co-pays, temporary housing, medication and and just the little things we don’t ever think about.

Kelly will have to stay in St. Louis for three months, then have to go every month after that. He lives six hours away from the transplant center, so the needs are pretty great.
