On May 28,2026 Kitty had an eye doctor appointment to address a Right side peripheral vision loss and after the eye exam turned up nothing she was told to get a MRI ASAP…On June 1,2026 Kitty had a MRI scan done and the next morning notified and told to find a emergency room with a neurology department immediately… After checking into the fargo Sanford hospital ER she found out that she has a rather large 5 cm tumor against her brain and that it would require surgery to remove…she was also told that it is an extremely risky surgery as it has grown around her carotid artery and most other major vessels and arteries..it is also pinching off her optical nerves causing the blindness…. Kitty was referred to the Mayo clinic in Rochester .. At Kitty’s visit to the Mayo it was decided that she would need an extremely risky and highly specialized surgery not to remove the tumor but to remove as much as possible to relieve pressure from her optical nerves and hopefully prevent further blindness.. she was also told that her vision already lost will not return.. This surgery along with hospital, after treatment, radiation treatment after recovery all come with a very high cost and unfortunately Kitty does not have any health insurance to cover these costs so if you can help please do as we have a very large goal to meet..
