Help Maribel Breathe Again: Support Her Lifesaving Transplant Journey

Maribel is a fighter, but right now, she needs our help. She is currently living with Stage 4 COPD and is in urgent need of a double lung transplant to save her life.

Maribel must wear supplemental oxygen 24 hours a day. Her current quality of life is severely restricted. Simple, everyday tasks that most of us take for granted—like walking, cooking, holding a conversation, and brushing her hair—have become monumental challenges.

While Maribel has medical insurance, the financial reality of a transplant goes far beyond what insurance covers. To remain active on the transplant waiting list, Maribel is required to temporarily relocate closer to the hospital for the surgery and six months of critical post-operative care. Your tax-deductible contributions will directly help ease the heavy financial burden of out-of-pocket expenses, including temporary lodging and travel costs near the transplant center, post-transplant medications, and essential medical bills not covered by insurance.
