Marshanae Davis

Life has a way of changing in an instant. Not long ago, I was living my everyday life—working, dreaming, caring for others, and planning for the future. But everything shifted when I was faced with a diagnosis that I never imagined would become part of my story: kidney failure.

Since then, my life has been filled with doctor visits, treatments, and constant uncertainty. Simple things that many take for granted—having energy, feeling healthy, or even making plans—have become daily challenges. Some days are harder than others, but I continue to push forward with hope in my heart.

The reality is that I now need a kidney transplant to survive and to truly live again—not just exist. A transplant would give me the chance to regain my strength, be present for my loved ones, and return to the life I’ve been fighting so hard to hold onto.

This journey has not only been emotionally overwhelming but also financially draining. Medical bills, medications, travel for appointments, and time away from work have created a burden that I cannot carry alone. Asking for help is not easy, but I’ve learned that strength also comes from allowing others to support you.

If you’re able, I humbly ask for your support—whether through a donation, sharing my story, or keeping me in your prayers. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to a second chance at life.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story, for your compassion, and for standing with me during this fight. Your kindness means more than words can express.
