Melissa McCreary

Friends of Melissa McCreary are raising money through the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a catastrophic illness. Melissa “Wheels” has chosen to fund raise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses. The main and most immediate expense is a wheelchair accessible vehicle that enables her to drive from her wheelchair instead of having to transfer back and forth from her wheelchair to the driver’s seat. Her current van is 22 years old and no longer fits her needs.

She has found a wheelchair adapted vehicle that is perfect for her needs. She just needs help paying for it. Getting this new (used) vehicle would keep her wheelin’ along and independent. Some of her favorite things include her beloved cat Benson, sewing, Coke Zero, reading, spending time with her friends, and getting out and about when she can.
