In 2012, our dad, Mickey Kent, was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor called a cavernoma, which affected his balance and speech. For years, he managed well, but during the COVID-19 pandemic, he had a severe fall at home, breaking his neck. Miraculously, he survived, but during his recovery, he also suffered two pulmonary embolisms. These have made walking extremely difficult. Today, he depends on a wheelchair for most of his mobility, and he’s at risk of falls if he tries to stand for long.

We’re raising funds to get him a Zeen Walker, a hybrid walker and wheelchair, which would give him more independence in daily life. This will help him build strength in his legs while keeping him safer. If you’re able to support, even a small donation makes a difference. If not, sharing this with others means the world.
