Helping with the needs love alone can’t cover
Families raising children with disabilities give so much every day. Together, we can help with the needs beyond their reach, and make room for more joy, more possibilities, and a little less worry.
I’m Brenda, Renna’s mom and the founder of Renna’s Corner. Renna has Pitt Hopkins syndrome, a rare genetic condition, and autism. She is a little girl with her own interests, determination, and so much to share with the world.
Like other parents, I want my child to experience all she can. But that often means extra support, adaptive equipment, and therapies that can be expensive and aren’t always covered by insurance. Behind those needs are appointments, paperwork, insurance battles, and the constant work of advocating for your child.
Our family has also experienced what happens when people come alongside you. Through the generosity of our community, we’ve successfully raised funds toward Renna’s service dog. That support has given us hope for her safety, independence, and the experiences ahead.
That’s the heart behind the Renna’s Corner Compassion Fund: extending that same encouragement and support to other families.
Through Help Hope Live, our goal is to help children with disabilities access eligible medical care, equipment, therapies, and related support. Renna and I will not be recipients of this fund.
Your gift can help another family take a step toward something their child needs, with a little less financial worry and the reminder that they aren’t alone.
Details about how families will be selected and how to request assistance will be shared as we develop the fund.
