Roberta McCormack

Family and friends of Roberta McCormack are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund her out of pocket expenses associated with the necessary double lung transplantation.

Since 2019 Roberta had been oxygen dependent , now at extreme levels and diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension, COPD, Emphysema and hereditary Neurofibromotosis which have made transplant the only choice for any hope of a life of quality.

Forced into early retirement from the career she loved due to these illnesses for which there is no cure she has opted for transplant. She now has a very limited existence. The simple things we all take for granted, to be able to independently walk, speak without shortness of breath, shopping or driving are no longer a part of her normal activities.

If you know Berty, you know this is devastating. A life of isolation has been difficult, but with family,friends and her Faith, she believes she will survive and thrive with the gift of life, lung transplant will bring.
