Sebastian Smith, who is a top tier athlete, recently suffered a life-changing accident while snowboarding. In a moment that changed everything, he fell and fractured his neck. The shock and uncertainty of this situation have been overwhelming.

As he begins the long journey ahead, there are countless challenges to face. The funds raised in honor of Sebastian, through this campaign will go directly toward covering medical bills, the intensive rehabilitation he needs and any medical equipment needed. These funds will help support his efforts to regain as much independence as possible and make his life better as he hurdles over these obstacles ahead. Your support will also help provide the equipment and resources necessary for his comfort and well-being.

Sebastian is currently at Craig Hospital in Denver, CO. It is the best hospital in the country for spinal cord injuries. He has a dedicated team of professionals helping him in so many ways – new electric wheelchair, so many rehab classes, physical therapy, and so much training for those in his life that will be helping in his care. He has a total of 45 days at Craig covered by insurance. People are working back in N. Michigan to prepare a place for him to live. So much is happening so quickly!
