Sonya Cherisse Shuler

My name is Sonya Shuler, When i was five years old i was diagnose with polystic kidney diease. For this condition was being seen regularly at the Medical University of South Carolina at their pediatric clinic. As an adult I still was getting care at MUSC. Several years went pass when the doctor told me that i will eventually go on dialysis. Years went by, and i got evaluated to get on the waiting list to get a kidney transplant, and pass the evaluation process. Two years went by and i got that call saying that we have a kidney ready for you and this was in June 2008. I had my transplanted kidmey for 15 years. In the year of 2023 i started dialysis, and still do to this day, three days a week. Prayful for a kidney soon. God Bless
