Timothy Patrick McClure

On May 10, Tim McClure suffered a catastrophic spinal cord injury while swimming. He is currently experiencing significant paralysis. Despite the seriousness of Tim’s injury, he is fighting to overcome it and striving for the fullest neurological recovery possible. To get there, Tim is receiving (and will continue to receive) some of the best medical care in the country. Other than surgeries or hospital stays, much of the medical care and advanced equipment that Tim needs is simply not covered by insurance.

To help Tim get the care and equipment that matches his drive to recover, Tim’s family and friends are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses. Tim has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax-deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.

Tim is a proud graduate of Saint Joseph’s Preparatory School in Philadelphia, and Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore. A week after his injury, Tim graduated from Loyola with a BS in Finance.
