Ashley Clifford was just 16 years old when a sudden diagnosis changed the course of her life. Over the past 2 months, a medical fundraising campaign with the nonprofit Help Hope Live has raised over $1,700 in Ashley’s honor to assist with the out-of-pocket medical costs related to her diagnosis.

Angel Becton experienced her first stroke before turning 40. Now 51, she’s endured more medical hardships than many people experience over a lifetime. A shining light of faith to those around her, Angel is now in need of help from the community to fund medical care following the loss of her Medicaid in 2025.

On Sunday, May 3, run or walk for a good cause at the first Jovita Strong 5K event at Tukwila Community Center to benefit the nonprofit Help Hope Live in honor of Jovita McConnell. Jovita experienced a life-altering aneurysm and coma in April 2025. Fundraising efforts will help fuel her ongoing rehabilitation.

On Saturday, April 11, enjoy a Princess Dance Party for a great cause at The Farm on Golden Hill in Silverton. Funds raised will benefit the nonprofit Help Hope Live in honor of Ellie Trask, a Lebanon 6-year-old living with a rare genetic illness.
