On December 3, 2024, the Help Hope Live community did it again, sharing an outpouring of generosity and hope to celebrate GivingTuesday 2024. Here’s a recap.
What Help Hope Live donors did on GivingTuesday 2024:
$214,260+ raised for Help Hope Live
As we covered the credit card fee, your communities of support showed up and made a huge impact on GivingTuesday.
670 donations and $193,660 raised at helphopelive.org
By 9:30 a.m. ET on GivingTuesday, donors at helphopelive.org had already exceeded the previous day’s total giving.
By noon ET, over $75,000 had been donated at helphopelive.org—more than three times the donations made on the previous day.
3% increase over GivingTuesday 2023
The spirit of giving is alive and well! Communities across the country were even more generous this year, raising 3% more for Help Hope Live on GivingTuesday than they did in 2023.
$10,600+ raised through Facebook Fundraisers
Social media was once again used as a force for good as dozens of Facebook Fundraisers were started to benefit Help Hope Live on GivingTuesday 2024.
250+ messages of hope
By 3:30 p.m. ET on GivingTuesday, there were already 150 messages of hope, love, and support flooding into the Guestbooks on our client Campaign Pages.
In total, more than 250 messages were left on client Guestbooks on GivingTuesday 2024.

GivingTuesday is an important day for so many of our clients, and our Client Services team took their one-on-one fundraising help further than ever in 2024.
This year’s client fundraising support broke records: we doubled the number of personalized GivingTuesday materials we created for client campaigns.

Feeling Twice Blessed

Before making a donation in honor of a client on our website, donors often take the time to reach out to Help Hope Live, asking questions about our mission and platform.
In chatting with our team, they get the chance to learn about what we do—providing one-on-one trusted medical fundraising help to thousands of clients—and how we do it, from our medical verifications to how we administer funds raised to ensure donations can be tax deductible and provide maximum protection for client benefits.
We’re grateful that following their interactions with our team, this donor to a client campaign took the extra time to share a Guestbook message. It truly made an impact for us.
All of us at Help Hope Live feel blessed by the generosity we see every day, especially on days like GivingTuesday.
Our team is twice blessed, getting to not only witness abundant generosity toward our nonprofit mission from donors nationwide but also watch thousands of individual communities of support come together to help a loved one, friend, or neighbor in need.
Our 40+ years in operation has also revealed to us over and over again that even in the midst of hardship, our clients have so much to give and share with others.

Yes: we recommend that you stop sharing your GivingTuesday fundraising materials since the content includes a date that is now behind us. However, you can always ask your Coordinator for tips on getting some fresh materials for your next fundraising push—including a new flyer.
