“PLAINTIFF FUND” OFFERS HELP AND HOPE WITH CHARITY PARTNERSHIP
Over $22,000 Already Pledged to Help Families Facing a Medical Crisis
PORTLAND, Or.—A partnership between the national nonprofit Help Hope Live (helphopelive.org) and Jeremy Babener, President of Structured Consulting (structuredconsulting.com), has created The Plaintiff Fund—a critical lifeline for injured plaintiffs facing high out-of-pocket medical expenses.
With generous support from multiple professionals and organizations, The Plaintiff Fund has already garnered over $22,000 in pledges to help kickstart life-changing medical fundraising campaigns.
Motivated to improve the lives of injured plaintiffs facing high medical costs, Babener collaborated with Help Hope Live to establish The Plaintiff Fund. Babener will be reaching out to a wide network of plaintiff-focused professionals to pledge their support and join The Plaintiff Fund Committee. Early supporters include the Society of Settlement Planners and the creators of the Plaintiff Recovery Trust at Eastern Point Trust Company.
“These are experts who regularly help injured plaintiffs suing for justice,” explained Babener. With direct experience in how catastrophic injuries impact patients and their families, including the financial burden, members of The Plaintiff Fund Committee will help grow the Fund’s capacity and visibility to reach plaintiffs across the country.
Funds raised are securely administered by the 501(c)(3) national nonprofit Help Hope Live. Individuals and families come to the nonprofit to start medical fundraising campaigns to offset uncovered expenses. With help from The Plaintiff Fund, eligible plaintiffs who begin fundraising with Help Hope Live will soon be able to receive a $1,000 grant in their honor to kick start their fundraising campaign.
According to Help Hope Live, catastrophic injuries can cost over $1 million in the first year alone. Insurance never covers every expense, making trusted medical fundraising campaigns a life-changing source of help and hope. Injured clients fundraise for commonly uncovered costs including activity-based rehabilitation, caregiving, medical travel, accessible home modifications, modified vans, and more.
