In October 2025, we got the special opportunity to partner with the Flyers Alumni Association for another epic Every Child Deserves a Bike giveaway.
Our excited adaptive bike recipient was 10-year-old Raymeer Bacon-El, a Flyers fan who loves to stay active with adaptive ice hockey, baseball, soccer, and karate. “Bacon Boy” has been living with disabilities that require ongoing physical therapy since he began receiving radiation treatments in 2015.
As his mom explained: “He has a fear of riding a “normal” bike. Having an adaptive bike would be a tremendous improvement for him.”
We helped that dream come true with the generous support of the Flyers Alumni Association and our friends at GMC.
Raymeer and his family got to link up with our Executive Director Kelly L Green and Board Member Stephanie McAlaine along with Barrett Brooks and Flyers Alumni Jim Watson, Chris Therien, Brad Marsh, Danny Briere, Joe Watson, and Doug Crossman.
As mom shared:
“Now we can all go riding together. That’s something we’ve been wanting to do with him for a long time.”

We are so grateful to the Flyers Alumni Association for making it possible for us to bring joy, motion, and hope within reach for local kids and young adults living with life-changing disabilities.
We know adaptive bikes can be a game-changer, improving outdoor access, community connection, and regular exercise that can help improve mobility, health, and independence. However, adaptive bikes often remain financially out of reach for families without help.
Thanks to the Flyers Alumni Association, together, we can bring a vision to life: Every Child Deserves a Bike.
We’ve already brought more joy and motion into the lives of so many local kids and young adults. As Brad Marsh explained, for kids like Raymeer, the impact is profound:
“It’s a wonderful program…many times, it’s the first time these kids have gotten to ride a bike alongside their brothers or sisters.”
