A live news broadcast screenshot with the tagline DOUBLE-LUNG TRANSPLANT FUNDRAISER shows a poster that says Micah Hardy Family Benefit - Thank You for Your Support with a family portrait of lung transplant candidate Micah Hardy, his wife, and their six daughters.

“Seeing donations come in and baskets being built…local business stepping up…people have really put themselves into this.”

A husband and father of six girls living with sarcoidosis, Micah Hardy and his community are fundraising with Help Hope Live to offset the cost of a life-saving double lung transplant.

Micah will be hospitalized for three weeks post-transplant and will need to remain close to the hospital for three months.

The Hardy family says they couldn’t have done it without the support from the community, Corpus Christi Catholic School, and St. Patrick Church of Merna.
