In October, a pickleball fundraiser raised almost $20,000 in honor of Norma Aguirre, a mother recovering from a life-changing spinal cord injury sustained in February while on a trip with her daughter.
Community support has been critical to Norma’s life after injury as she builds on her faith and redefines what disability means to her. Emotionally and financially, the community is by her side.
