Some of you know that in 1991, while pregnant with my son, I was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome, a kidney disease that eventually leads to end stage kidney failure. I spent four years on dialysis and then I received a life-saving kidney transplant. I am so grateful to have a second chance at a normal life.

With God’s grace, great doctors, and medication I have been able to live a very normal and productive life working and raising my son. Through it all I praised God with joy in my heart. I have contiuned working in my church, singing on the choir and praying and encouraging others.
