My mother, Alejandra Lainez is a 52-year-old woman who is in need of a kidney transplant. She has Stage 4 Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD), a disease she inherited from her mother. She was diagnosed with this disease when she was about 35 years old but recently her kidney function has dropped. She is a selfless, loving person who is loved much by her family and friends.

Alejandra has a loving husband, Juan, and 3 children with whom she shares her life with. Throughout her life she has always been a support for her family and has helped many people throughout the years as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She never complains and has always put her needs aside to help others. But as her disease has advanced, she’s had to ask for help to overcome this difficult situation.

Hello everyone!
First of all thank you for visiting my mom’s donation page. My family and I appreciate your interest. Just a few updates. This week my mom is getting her dialysis fistula put in. We are hoping it goes well but we are still a bit nervous. My mom as usual is obsessing over the house being perfectly clean. But besides that everything seems to be going well. So far there is no change to my mom’s kidney function but I’ll keep everyone updated. Once again, thank you for all your love and support.

Cathy 🙂
